Ghost Recon Takes Another Advancement In Warfare

In the year 2014, an imminent threat is facing the United States Military's most elite fighting unit---the Ghosts.
The Ghosts are faced with a Mexican civil war, which erupted between mutinous army units. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter 2 (GRAW 2) puts you right back in the steel-toed boots of US Army Captain Scott Mitchell of the fictional fifth Special Forces Group for another grueling battle south of the border in Mexico.
In this game, the fighting threatens to spill over onto US soil along with the threat of nuclear weapons, which gives your superiors even more reasons to scream at you over the radio to defeat the rebels.
One objective featured in one of the missions is rescuing a Mexican journalist who has clues about the insurgency. Other missions have you neutralizing enemy encampments and battling it out with rebels in war-torn Mexican cities while Black Hawk Helicopters fly over the vast cityscapes. The large battles in GRAW 2 are awesome with vehicles exploding around you, helicopters buzzing above and situations going crazy.
The artificial intelligence is fine when your teammates follow you around from checkpoint to checkpoint, but when it comes to combat you have to do much of the fighting yourself. An example would be when there are two enemies next to a red car shooting at you, your teammates will yell out that fact and do nothing about it.
The main downside to the game is the campaign version is very short. You can probably get through it all in four or five hours at most.
GRAW 2 is action-packed with a soundtrack that is dramatic at moments. The soundtrack serves to increase the intensity of the game. If you're a fan of Tom Clancy games, and have played Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter, than you will love GRAW 2.
