"Crackdown" is the type of game that makes owning an XBOX 360 worthwhile. An urban action video game with minimal or no rules. This means you can pretty much do whatever you feel like in the virtual world of this game.
The video game plays just like the video game series "Grand Theft Auto," has a sandbox -style game play, meaning you can go wherever you want to. If you have XBOX Live, you and a friend can play in co-op mode. Allowing you and your friend to play together as a team, or against each other.
The character you play, is the "Agent," whose mission is to defeat the "Kingpin" of the three dominant gangs in Pacific City. Your character goes around the city shooting and killing gang members while unlocking supply points and increasing skills.
The different skills are firearms, strength, agility, explosives and driving. To increase these skills, the player must collect experience orbs from defeated enemies. Aside from experience orbs, there are agility orbs, which will only raise your agility skill. Hidden orbs increase all five of the skills. Once you get all your skills to level five, the player becomes hard to kill.
Along with the game, if you pre-ordered your copy, you are able to download the beta test for Halo 3 when the beta test is released. What are you waiting for? Stop reading this paper and go purchase "Crackdown," and get hooked.
