" I Go Dumb Off Heavy Metal"

A rap group from Concord, California, Hardnox has been making a buzz on Myspace sending out messages to local people to let them know that their CD is free for download. Hardnox is made up of two rappers, Danny Boy and Jimbo. They're using Myspace to tell people about their latest album," I Go Dumb Off This Heavy Metal" out now for free download from their myspace page Http://www.myspace.com/hardnox.
The CD sounds hyphy, but mixed with heavy metal guitars, resulting in a hard-hitting, rap party in your head. Some of the songs featured local Bay Area Hyphy rappers, including Keak Da Sneak, Bounce, Nump, Hoodstarz and a nerdcore rapper named MC Lars.
One reason why to legally download, "I Go Dumb Off This Heavy Metal," is because the band is comprised of local Bay Area rappers. Another reason to download it because there is a song Hardnox did with MC Lars, who is a nerdcore rapper.
The last two songs on the CD are mash-ups. A Mash-up is a song where two genres combine to create something new. One if Hardnox vs. Panic At The Disco and it is strange because Hardnox raps over the music of the original Panic At The Disco song " I Write Sins Not Tragedies." The other mash-up song is Hardnox Vs. AFI where they have the intro music and vocals and go straight into rapping over the music playing in the background.
