Oddioblender's CD "Kublai Khan" is a nerdcore CD that will have you rolling on the floor with laughter. With songs like "My Axe is My Woman" and "Speed Limit", Oddioblender, whose real name is Gustuf Young, from Fort Worth, Texas has amazed people in his hometown and abroad with his geeky rhymes.
His album "Kublai Khan" uses old video game music mixed with beats added into the formula provides the backdrop for his nerdy rhymes about alien abduction, commercial rap pseudo-gangsterism and the Role Playing Series Final Fantasy. In his song "Show Me Your Rims" he describes his love of nerdy girls and how he thinks glasses are sexy. The song "My Axe is My Woman" is about a soldier who has love for his weapon alone and saving mercy for no one.
"Don't Go Gangsta" is about how people pretending that they are thugs so they can preserve their image in the rap industry and eventually dying at the hands of a fate they created themselves. "Don't Go" actually got some play on a British webcast. The best song on this CD is probably "My Axe is My Woman" because it has the interlude melody of the game "Golden Axe 2," and also because of the way the song makes you want to listen to the song while playing your favorite role playing game. Oddioblender is not ust a nerdcore artist, he also has 13 other cds. Most of the early CD's are electronic music, which are also very great albums.
