Stick to the facts about Clinton
Letter to the editor

Dear Editor,
I am writing in response to Matt Diez's article in the February 2, 2007 edition of the Express titled "Hillary, the wrong Clinton."
Matt makes the outrageous and offensive comment that "the woman, who couldn't even keep her husband satisfied, is trying to satisfy the needs of an entire country."
He says that he is not scared of having a woman president.
Does he mean this to claim that he is an open-minded, progressive, and non-sexist?
Well it is clear that he believes that it was Hillary's fault that Bill had an affair with Monica Lewinsky, and even more, that it is the woman's job to sexually serve her husband.
He may have been trying to be funny but wake up and smell the 21st century Matt!
Matt can be critical of Hillary without being so unpleasantly sexist, but alas, most of those so critical of Hillary Clinton are actually the ones who are intimidated that she could be so much stronger and more intelligent then them.
I hope Matt can stick to the facts about Hillary and her positions on the issues, which he can freely disagree with.
Rather than degrading his thought not to mention my eyes and the paper with such a ridiculous statement about her role as a woman or as a wife.
I hope LPC could offer Matt a class about gender equality.
Maybe then he could realize how wrong and insulting his comment was and how irresponsible it was to print it.
