The world will come to an end.
Hillary Clinton is a mistake for candidacy in the 2008 election. Clinton has been on a power trip ever since she became senator+. There is not one factor that she brings to this election that makes her a good candidate.
This is the most diverse election our country has ever seen. Hillary Clinton's decision to run for president is a horrid idea. Although it has nothing to do with her gender, it does have to do with the fact that she doesn't have one clear thought in her head. Mrs. Clinton has no idea what to do about the war. We are also all still waiting for that big healthcare program that she's been promising for about five years now. If Hillary Clinton is chosen as president, the U.S. is in for many wrong choices and many false promises.
Her main promise is to take troops out of Iraq. "We need to bring our combat troops home from Iraq, starting right now," said Mrs. Clinton. According to "New York Times" on Aug 3. Clinton also said, "The damage that has already been done to our country in the last six years is incalculable." The thing about the war is that she put in her vote that authorized the invasion in the first place, but she fails to mention that when she talks about the war. I guess she is hoping that the people forgot about that.
Mrs. Clinton was elected U.S. senator in 2000 where she started fighting for healthcare. To this day she is as far as she was on the first day of being senator. Clinton has been promising the same thing for seven years and has gotten nowhere. I know it has been a Republican senate, and it would be hard for her plan to be approved, but you shouldn't promise something that you can't do, that just makes for a bad candidate. We need someone who does what they say they are going to do. As a U.S. senator you would think she would have more say or pull in what happens in our country.
There are much better choices for president then Hillary Clinton. For example Barack Obama isn't afraid to stand up for what he believes in. In a conference in Kansas City, Obama spoke out and told military veterans that are pro-war that he will pull troops out of Iraq. Yet Clinton on the other hand talked her usual political garbage only showing her interest in benefits for war veterans.
Do you think Clinton was there to talk about the real situation or to just win votes?
If the American public wants to see how the country would run by a person who can't speak her own mind and doesn't have a concrete idea in her head, well then Hillary Rodham Clinton is the woman for the job.
